February 23 - On the Rise - Simple Breads Made Simple


Saturday February 23, 2019 - 11am - 2pm

Spend the morning learning the technique behind baking homemade breads. We will make: Two types of Focaccia - a Rosemary Skillet Focaccia and a Tender Semolina Focaccia, Whole Wheat Pita Bread and Fresh Dinner Rolls. We’ll also make a simple Homemade Ricotta, delicious served with anytime.

Students will learn - Mixing yeasted doughs, Ingredient Functions, Using Different Flours and Grain, Kneading & Scaling, Shaping & Rounding, Proofing & Fermentation…

This class will be held at Henning’s Local, located at 6 Old County Road, Cochecton, NY 12726.
