October 13 - Pies for Fall and Holiday


Saturday October 13, 2018 - 12 to 3pm

Understanding the science of what makes a pie crust flaky and tender can be the difference between an amazing pie and a disaster.

In this class we will learn how to make 4 pies. We will work on making the perfect crust and incredible fillings with a twist. We’ll make Pumpkin Pie with Browned Butter Crumbs, Rye Pecan Pie and Nantucket Cranberry Pie and Chocolate Hazelnut Pie with a Chocolate Sea Salt Crust

Each student will make and roll their own crust and make, fill and bake pies.

This class will be held at Henning’s Local, located at 6 Old County Road, Cochecton, NY 12726.
