November 16 - Thanksgiving Pies

Understanding the science of what makes a pie crust flaky and tender can be the difference between an amazing pie and a disaster.

In this class we will learn how to make 4 incredible seasonal pies. We will work on making the perfect crust and incredible fillings with a twist. We’ll make three holiday classics; a Double-Crusted Apple Pie, a Bourbon Pecan Pie and a Rich Chocolate Pie with Chantilly Cream and Chocolate Crumbs.

Each student will make and roll their own crust and make, fill and bake pies.

This class will be held at Henning’s Local, located at 6 Old County Road, Cochecton, NY 12726.
